For more than 20 years, Laura Butler has been practicing family law, first in Charlotte, North Carolina and then in Charlottesville, Virginia after a 2004 move. She has a reputation for being straightforward with her casework by being honest with her clients and tough against opposing counsel. Our clients know they can depend on her for difficult family law and divorce cases, including those that involve back child support. Throughout her years of practice experience, she has stayed active within legal communities, such as the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA), where she acted as the District Governor.
Out of the law office, Laura loves to spend time with her daughter, read, and raise her new puppy, who is a law dog-in-training.
